Well, 2017 is almost at an end which means we need to get ready for the New Year. Many families have a traditional meal that they serve and below is what we normally serve.

New Year’s Meal:

Brown Sugar & Honey Glazed Ham

Hoe Cakes 

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

I’m not really sure what our meal is going to be yet, as we have been starting some new traditions here in the little house on the pond, but I’m sure it will be delicious.

Brown Sugar & Honey Glazed Ham

This is a recipe I make once or twice a year. New Year’s Day and Easter are the normal holidays I make it for.

I try to keep my eye open for sales as ham can be rather pricey, so can the honey. You could add sliced pineapples to the ham before you glaze it if you like. Continue reading “Brown Sugar & Honey Glazed Ham”
