This was another recipe that I made for the Chili Dog Dangle Dance that we had on June 9th for the Silver Fox Squares. I did not find the graham cracker sticks mentioned in the original, I did however find some Scooby Doo snacks which looked like doggie treats, so I decided to just use regular graham crackers and they worked out fine.
I found this recipe in my Facebook feed. Click here for the original link.
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 c. Hot Fudge topping (not heated)
- 1 c. 10x sugar
- 2 t. vanilla
- 7-8 oz. marshmallow creme or fluff
- mini marshmallows or marshmallow bits(optional)
- mini chocolate chips (optional)
- graham crackers or graham sticks
In a large bowl cream together the cream cheese, hot fudge topping, sugar, vanilla, and marshmallow creme until well blended.
Chill for 2-3 hours.
You can stir in, or sprinkle on top, a few mini chocolate chocolate chips and mini marshmallows, if desired.
Serve with graham crackers.
Who doesn’t love a campfire with and roasting marshmallows. We try to have a ‘Weenie Roast’ every few months and let the kids roast their hot dogs and marshmallows on a stick. They love it!
We also do this at least one night when we go camping. I am so ready to go right now! S’mores are the best when you take a freshly roasted marshmallow from the campfire but you can also make them in the microwave if you don’t happen to have a campfire handy.
For each S’more you will need:
- 1 whole graham cracker, split into 2 squares
- 1 large marshmallow
- 1 or 2 squares of chocolate (I like to try and find the Hershey’s miniatures on sale)
Place the chocolate on one half of the graham cracker.
Heat your marshmallow over the fire until it starts to brown. Be careful not to burn yourself.
Place the HOT marshmallow on top of the chocolate and top with the other half of the graham cracker.
Voila! You may want to let it cool for a minute or so before attempting to eat.
On microwave safe plate place 1 cracker square.
Top with chocolate and marshmallow.
Heat on high 15 seconds or until marshmallow puffs up.
Remove from microwave and immediately cover with the other cracker.
Be careful, it will be HOT! Enjoy!
