This recipe is so easy and I like to make it when I’ve made a huge batch of macaroni and cheese the day before so I can use up all the leftovers.
Easy Chili Mac N Cheese
- 2 boxes of your favorite macaroni and cheese, prepared as directed on the box
- 1-2 cans of your favorite chili (I prefer to use the ‘no beans’ for this)
While the macaroni is still warm add the chili and stir. Het over low heat for 5-10 minutes until heated through.
Serve with a salad and bread to complete the meal.
My family absolutely loves this recipe and it is one of their all time favorites. It is also super simple and the kids can help with it.
2 -15 oz cans chili with or without beans
1 pack hot dogs (about 8-10)
10 -8 inch flour tortillas
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Spread 1 can of chili in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Roll up each hot dog in a tortilla and place seam side down on top of chili. Top with remaining can of chili and sprinkle with cheese.
Cover baking dish with foil, and bake at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes.
