Hey everybody! I haven’t been doing daily updates this week as we haven’t done a whole lot of major cleaning missions at all. I overdid it last week and had to call in reinforcements just to get a few projects tackled this week.
Luckily Ms. Olivia was free for a couple of days and she came to stay with us. The kids loved having big sister back home and she really did help out quite a bit.
This week has been a very dreary week with rain and storms almost everyday. Not great for getting motivated to work but perfect for sleeping. The good side is that we haven’t had to water the garden at all!
This week was also a pantry challenge week for us and since we just finished organizing our pantry last week we had a pretty good idea of what needed to be used up. Continue reading Bathroom And Extra Room Kleaning Missions Weekly Wrap Up
Oh my! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We did here but it has left me pretty much exhausted from all the fun. Continue reading Mother’s Day Weekend Wrap Up
As many of you know I am an avid square dancer. I also love to dress up in my fancy square dance outfits but no outfit is complete without a couple of pieces of nice jewelry. I am constantly on the lookout for affordable trendy pieces to compliment my various outfits and I was excited when I was given the opportunity to try out this lovely bracelet by Judy Luxury, which is an online fashion store specializing in affordable fashion items for women.
I am in love with all things rose gold colored here lately and this bracelet is no exception. This beautiful Judy Luxury Designer Bracelet Rose Gold Color is made of titanium and its variety of patterns looks great with many different outfits that I have. This delicate bracelet has quickly become a favorite of mine and I look forward to wearing it with many different outfits on many different occasions in the upcoming year.
Judy Luxury also has a wide variety of handbags, wallets, belts, jewelry, and other products to keep you looking your best without breaking the bank. Be sure to check them out here to take a peek at the other beautiful pieces they have.
I’m so looking forward to starting new classes because that means I’ll be meeting new people that I may not normally be in contact with. Our club has grown so much since I first started in January.
Many of us started out as strangers and now we are closer than some families. We come from all walks of life as we have moms, dads, bloggers :), farmers, quilters, hairdressers, nurses, teachers, grandmas, grandpas, young kids, cashiers, and even a retired doctor just to mention a few.
All of us have at least one thing in common, square dancing, and we are able to spend time with each other while also improving our lives one step at a time! We have so much fun it doesn’t seem possible. Many of us even do things together other than square dancing like shopping, hunting, and going out to eat on occasion.
(Some of our members don’t dance and just come to mingle with us and give us moral support but they are just as important as everyone else.)
I will say that just being a member of this club has helped my stress levels, helped me to make many new friends, improved my memory and concentration, helped my aches and pains from Fibromyalgia and arthritis, and just given me such a sense of accomplishment. I am proud to be a member of this group and proud to participate in the many events that we have done this past year including special dances and fundraisers.
If you would like more information please check out Classes on the Silver Fox Squares site.
We had an awesome time Saturday at The Big Barn Dance. Please check out our video on Youtube and give us a thumbs up!

Sunday was DS15’s birthday! Yeah, he is growing up. I am so proud of all the accomplishments and progress he has made over the past few years and I know that he will continue to learn and make progress in the years to come.
In case you don’t already know DS15 has Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, and several other disorders that can make life quite challenging at times. These challenges have been hard for me to overcome sometimes as a single parent and they can overwhelm anyone at times. Life has definitely been a roller coaster over the past few years. Today we attended the NEFSARDA Fall Festival Carnival Dance at Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beaches. There was a wonderful turnout and lots of lively dancing. I’m still a bit dizzy from all the whirling and twirling we did! Continue reading Square Dancing: Fall Festival Carnival Dance
Hey everyone! I’m slowly getting back to routines and really hope to start blogging on a more regular basis. This move has really been crazy but as things are settling down we are starting to get back to our routines, and changing them as needed.
Just wanted to give you all a peek into our morning routine today and share some of what we’ve been up to. Continue reading Getting Back To My Morning Routine
