Product Review: Urgent Energy

Hey Mommas! I know this time of year is so crazy busy and if you are like me you probably feel exhausted here lately. I’ve been so tired as I mentioned in ‘T is for Tuesdays, Twirling, Tea, and Turtles’ and I just realized I had been forgetting to take these awesome Urgent Energy Capsules by @Andrew Lessman.

My mom actually told me about theses a few years ago and I was a bit skeptical. She suffers from fibromyalgia as I do and the constant fatigue is horrible. Well these little babies have helped me so much. They give me the energy I need to get through the day wrestling kids, homeschooling, and keeping up with all that I do. They also give me enough energy to be able to square dance 2 or 3 nights a week. Continue reading Product Review: Urgent Energy

T is for Tuesday, Twirling, Tea, and Turtles

Boy did I have a busy day! I had to get up early to run some errands but I could’ve laid in bed a bit longer. I’ve been super exhausted lately… not sure exactly why but maybe the holidays and houseful of kids have something to do with it.

After I got back from town and took care of the fraud issue I mentioned in ‘Almost a Victim of Online Fraud’ it was time to work on the house. Our house is small and we jokingly call it the ‘Little House on The Pond’. Continue reading T is for Tuesday, Twirling, Tea, and Turtles

Review: The way of fate: A True Story From the Kindertransport

**Please note this post does contain affiliate links to which I may, possibly, earn a small commission from if you click on and purchase an item. For full disclosure click here.

Recently I had the opportunity to read and review ‘The way of fate: A True Story From the Kindertransport‘ written by George Shefi. This is a wonderful story about how the Holocaust affected a young boy, his family, and those around him.

It is very inspirational to read how optimistic he was and his sense of humor keeps the whole story very light. He was sent away by his mother at the age of 7. He traveled to England, Canada, and America before returning to Israel. Continue reading Review: The way of fate: A True Story From the Kindertransport

Did you know you could change the address on your driver’s license online? I did not until today. My mom had mentioned it to me a couple of days ago. It’s not that I’ve been procrastinating on getting it done but I just haven’t had a chance to make it to the DMV.

I’ve been so crazy busy since we moved, then we were all sick, then sick again, and my vehicle has not been running properly. My main concerns have been making sure to get a ride for grocery shopping, appointments, and such. Most of the time my errands wait until the evening when others are off work and the DMV is closed then. Continue reading MYFLORIDA.COM

It’s The Day Before Thanksgiving and My House Is A Wreck!

It’s true, our little house on the pond is a wreck and I don’t know where we will put all of our guests that are coming tomorrow. Anybody else feel the same way right now?

The past couple of weeks have been super crazy. I guess everyone has been trying to fit everything in before the holiday season. Then we had the time change which is always so much fun around here… can you hear the sarcasm?

Sunday was DS15’s birthday! Yeah, he is growing up. I am so proud of all the accomplishments and progress he has made over the past few years and I know that he will continue to learn and make progress in the years to come.

In case you don’t already know DS15 has Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, and several other disorders that can make life quite challenging at times. These challenges have been hard for me to overcome sometimes as a single parent and they can overwhelm anyone at times. Life has definitely been a roller coaster over the past few years.
