Granny’s Buttermilk Syrup
- 1 stick butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1/2 t. baking soda
Bring the first 3 ingredients to a boil and let boil, remove from heat.
Stir in the vanilla and baking soda. The mixture will foam up but that’s OK.
Let sit for a few minutes and serve warm.
Use as desired and Enjoy!
Keep unused syrup in the fridge.
