I have a few recipes that call for caramel sauce and this homemade version is just so much better than the store-bought kind! It is pretty simple to make as well!
Homemade Caramel Sauce
- 1 c. packed brown sugar – you can use white sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 c. milk or heavy cream for a richer sauce
- 1 t. vanilla (optional)
