This is so easy to make and so much better for you than the store-bought stuff. I just used this recently to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole and it was so GOOD! This will definitely be our go-to recipe from here on out.
Easy Alfredo Sauce
- 1 stick of butter
- 3-4 T. minced garlic (optional but we love it)
- 16 ozs cream cheese, cut into chunks (can use the reduced-fat)
- 2 c. Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 2 c. unsweetened almond milk
- black pepper
- garlic powder
- parsley, optional
- nutmeg, optional
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Saute the garlic in the butter.
Add the cream cheese and stir until completely melted.
Slowly whisk in the milk and parmesan cheese.
Sprinkle in seasonings to taste, except for the parsley.
Continue to heat and whisk until smooth and creamy.
Garnish with fresh or dried parsley.
