As many of you know I am always looking for devotionals and such for my morning quiet time. I need something that will inspire, motivate, and encourage me on my daily path. When I need encouragement I often go to the book of Proverbs to find an uplifting verse.

Well recently I was given the opportunity to review ‘31 Proverbs To Light Your Path‘ by Liz Curtis Higgs. She is an amazing author with a knack for writing inspirational pieces and adding her sense of humor to make it so much more enjoyable.

There are 31 different verses, which makes one for each day of the month, and a study guide in the back. The study guide would be wonderful for a personal bible study or to share with a small group of friends.

I also really liked the hard cover and the design on the front cover. It is a beautiful addition to those bookshelves I recently organized!

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is seeking God’s wisdom.

I will soon be posting a review on the children’s book ‘When God Made You‘ by Matthew Paul Turner.
