This is always requested when I make baked chicken as I usually make some mashed potatoes or Super Yummy Caulitaters as a side dish. Everyone knows that gravy over mashed potatoes is so yummy!
Chicken Gravy
Ingredients:
- chicken drippings from the Easy Baked Chicken recipe
- 1 – 2 c. chicken broth or water
- 1/4 c. cold water mixed with 1-2 T. cornstarch
- salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
Heat the drippings and broth over medium heat until it starts to boil.
Reduce heat slightly and whisk in the water/cornstarch mixture.
Stir until thickened. Remove from heat.
Season with salt and pepper.
