This is as close as I can get to my exact recipe. I just kinda eyeball my ingredients as I pour, dump, and taste. I like mine a little sweet but with a little tang to it also. You can adjust the sugar and vinegar to suit your own taste.
Cole Slaw
Ingredients:
- 1(16 oz) bag coleslaw mix (or use 2-3 c. shredded cabbage and 1 shredded carrot)
- 1/2 c mayo
- 2-3 T sugar, depending on taste (I have been using Stevia in place of the sugar)
- 1- 2 T vinegar, depending on taste (Try apple cider vinegar for a different flavor)
- salt and pepper to taste (we like to use mineral salt or Lawry’s garlic salt)
Directions:
Mix everything, except the coleslaw mix, to make the dressing.
Add the mix and stir/toss to coat evenly.
This usually tastes best if made in advance and allowed to sit in the fridge for an hour or so.
