Mississippi Pot Roast

I’ve had this recipe for a while but I forgot where I got it from originally. I love this recipe as it is so easy to put together and throw in the crockpot. Not to mention the fact that it smells AMAZING! We usually serve it with mashed potatoes and veggies.

Mississippi Pot Roast

Mississippi Pot Roast

  • 1 2-3lb beef roast
  • 1 packet of dry ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet of dry Au Jus mix
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4-6 pepperoncini peppers (basically a whole banana pepper or mild pepper out of the jar)

Place roast in crockpot.

Dump everything on top.

Put on the lid and let cook for 6-8 hours on low. DO NOT ADD WATER.
