Guess what we are having for dinner? Meatball sandwiches… yum! This is a huge hit with the kids. So easy to make and most of the ingredients can be found on sale every few weeks. (Most of these were found at Dollar Tree last week.)
Meatball Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 1 bag frozen meatballs
- 1 can pasta sauce
- 2 c shredded Italian cheese blend (mozzarella works fine too)
- 1 bag hot dog buns
Preheat oven to 400.
Grease a 9×13 pan.
Heat the meatballs and sauce in a saucepan, about 10 minutes or so.
** I forgot to take a picture of this step.
Spoon 3-4 meatballs into each bun and place in greased pan. Spoon remaining sauce over sandwiches.
Top with cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly. Serve with a salad and chips.
